Tottenham prevail over Coventry in a thrilling encounter

Tottenham Hotspur secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Coventry City in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Goals from Richarlison and Harry Kane sealed the win for Spurs, while Viktor Gyokeres pulled one back for the visitors.

Tottenham started the match brightly, and they took the lead in the 15th minute through Richarlison. The Brazilian forward latched onto a pass from Dejan Kulusevski and fired a low shot into the bottom corner.

Coventry responded well to going behind, and they created several chances of their own. However, they were unable to find an equalizer before half-time.

Tottenham doubled their lead in the 65th minute through Harry Kane. The England captain converted a penalty after Coventry goalkeeper Simon Moore had brought down Richarlison.

Coventry pulled one back in the 75th minute through Viktor Gyokeres. The Swedish striker headed home a cross from Callum O'Hare.

However, Tottenham held on to secure the win, and they moved up to third place in the Championship table.

Tottenham's victory was their second in a row, and it will give them confidence ahead of their next match against Norwich City next weekend.
